With "Night Verses", THE MAN-EATING TREE returns with renewed energy and a desire to push the boundaries of their sound. With a lineup featuring former and current members of legendary bands such as #GhostBrigade, #Poisonblack, #MorsSubita, #Entwine and more, the band is poised to deliver their most powerful and dynamic album yet.

Vocalist Manne Ikonen (ex-Ghost Brigade) tells us about the song:
"'Ruins of Insanity' tells a horrifying story about a couple struggling with a severe addiction and acquisitiveness in a dystopic world of chaos and misery, mind taken over by blinding lunacy so strong that reality and common sense is no longer in hand."

Founding member Janne Markus adds:
"Melancholy, own, common, hated, ashamed, loved, desired. The disintegration of two people's world and its reflection in everything around them. Leaving only emptiness. As a song this is the most straight-forward, catchy, melodic, not as heavy as the other songs on the album."
