On 25 June 2009, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk spoke to ITN's Benjamin Cohen about the new Tesla Roadster, the small-scale beginnings of Tesla Motors, and the future of electric vehicles. The interview was recorded the same day the Tesla Roadster went on sale in the UK. While the Tesla Roadster was steep in price, Musk said the "small start up" hoped to make Tesla cars affordable as soon as the technology would allow.
