If you only have one piece of candy, you might think: “It’s not enough! How will I share just one piece when I’m playing with my friends?”
But if you have more than one, a lot, three packets even, then you might say: “What a lot of candy! There’s enough for everyone!”
But there’s a problem: what’s enough for everyone might very soon run out:
We gave the candy away and now we have one piece again. Everyone knows that a lot is not a lot for long!
