Ever since I met you, I knew you were a really weird kid but I somehow managed to fall in love with you. I remember when we had really long hugs after school in 8th grade, and then I had the courage to ask you to our school dance. We slow danced and I lied my head on your shoulder to block out all of the staring and nervousness. That dance turned into a kiss that we first had in secret in a stairwell and that was the moment that I felt fireworks. We went through some tough times together but we somehow managed and stayed strong. You were all I could think about; my dreams day and night. You treated me like the princess that I never thought I was. I hope this isn't the end for us, and I hope that someday, somehow, we'll feel those fireworks again.
