Yes, it’s stunning. Crystal-clear water, ancient towns, dreamy islands. But during summer? Prices skyrocket, crowds swarm the coast, and it just doesn’t feel worth the money anymore. Rather visit Montenegro during summer!
2. Spain 🇪🇸
I do like Spain… just not in July. It gets brutally hot. Sightseeing feels like a survival mission, and I usually end up hiding inside until 7 p.m. Siesta isn’t a cute tradition, it’s necessary.
3. Finland 🇫🇮
The midnight sun sounds magical and it is… for one night. Then it’s nonstop daylight, no proper sleep, and mosquitoes everywhere. Beautiful place, but not the summer vibe I want.
4. Italy 🇮🇹
Italy is iconic, but in summer it’s a human traffic jam. Every major city is packed, beaches are overcrowded, and good luck finding peace anywhere. It’s a bit too much. Italy being Italy does make up for it a lot though.
5. Belgium 🇧🇪
I’ve tried, really. But Belgium just doesn’t click with me, no matter the season. It’s not bad, it’s just not for me. Summer doesn’t make it any more appealing. Maybe it’s because I’m Dutch. It feels too similar to home to be exciting, but still different enough that I don’t feel at home. If that makes sense.
Do you agree or disagree with my takes? Let it be known!
