In this video I’m doing an Amex Gold Card review after using this American Express credit card for 4 years now! The Amex Gold has been one of my favorite credit cards for a long time because it’s got a lot of valuable features and benefits. However, the recent changes to the American Express Gold Card make me question if the $325 annual fee is still worth it.
The annual credits on the Amex Gold sometimes do outweigh the annual fee. Also, there’s other features like the spending multipliers on this card for 4x on dining and 4x on groceries which can make this card so valuable as well. Amex Offers, along with the ability to earn Amex points through Rakuten are also a few things to consider that I discuss in this video.
While the changes to this Amex credit card have divided people’s opinions on the Amex Gold, there are a few overall changes that I like. However, it’s clear that the Amex Gold has followed the trend of becoming a coupon book similar to other American Express cards.
