This recording session was the middle of the end of rainBOWstory and my musical collaboration with my brother Simon.
.
I invited my great friend Leslie Lewis to record vocals on a song Simon and I were working on. Leslie was the lead singer of the blues rock band SugarKaneTrain from Las Vegas, NV. I had known Leslie for several years, I met her after her band had opened for my brother Josh’s band, Peerless. We became good friends after I photographed several of SKT’s concerts, and eventually built a website for them. .
The recording session for ‘Solved Like That’ was full of bickering and disagreements between my brother and I. Leslie was left in the middle, trying to stay neutral and keep the session rolling. It proved that Simon and I were losing our productivity and falling into the age old traps of being in a rock band. .
‘Solved Just Like That’ was never finished to it’s fullest potential and our 3rd album was shelved. Several of the songs from the never finished album would be released on my first solo album, Light Headed, several years later. .
