This is my Tropicana Las Vegas demolition update taken on Wednesday, December 04, 2024. The two towers are just about cleaned up down to the ground. It has been just a little less than two months since the tower implosion took place on October 09, 2024. As you can see there isn't much left to each tower. The front tower is pretty much gone with just the lower basement area still there. And yes, the cooler is still standing. Not sure for how much longer. The back tower still has some of the concrete that has to be crushed up to separate out the rebar. The piles of concrete are getting bigger on the north side of the site. I'm thinking they will bring in the rock crusher to crush all of this concrete. The break tree is still standing even though no one was using it for their break area today.
