Sports venues play a critical role in our society. They are one of the most common meeting places where communities can come together around a shared interest, so it's not surprising how much many people are willing to spend a fortune on them. Unfortunately, they require a great deal of planning and precision to pull off well and sometimes things just don't go according to the original plan. Here are 10 (well really 11) sports arenas that had problems that were most definitely not expected when they were originally planned. Some managed to make it through the problems while others didn't.
Just an aside, I decided to leave out Olympic venues from this list since I had already put out a previous video critiquing some of the most poorly planned Olympic sports venues.
