We'll kick things off at La Lucha Sanguchería Criolla for a classic Peruvian breakfast. The thing to order here is pan con chicharrón, a pork sandwich with sweet potato and red onions soaked in lime juice. Purple corn juice goes great with this meal!
Next, we'll visit Punto Azul which is a great restaurant in Miraflores for seafood. Here we'll try the ceviche, a traditional Peruvian dish of fish cured in lime juice. We'll also try the risotto with shrimp.
At Tanta we'll try tacu tacu, a savoury Peruvian rice and bean dish served with avocado, plantain and eggs. They also have an impressive menu of smoothies and juices featuring all sorts of tropical fruits.
Manolo is the place to go for churros. We always get one order of the plain churros to dunk in hot chocolate and an order of the stuffed churros with manjar blanco, chocolate and vanilla cream.
Lastly, we'll visit KO Asian Kitchen, which features dishes from across Asia, but with a Peruvian twist. We'll have the Hong Kong dumplings with white fish and prawns, the Korean bibimbap with beef, and sushi for a taste of Japan. It's a fun restaurant for fusion food.
