US President Donald Trump has toured the so-called ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ remote migrant detention centre in Florida as he cracks down on illegal immigration.The new facility is built in a remote area surrounded by alligators and pythons, which the President hopes will deter people attempting to escape.
The 5,000-bed detention centre has been constructed at a cost of $630 million.
