Welcome back to the Miller Mix World Tour, where we shine a light on under-the-radar music scenes and emerging talent from around the globe. Today, we’re in Almaty, Kazakhstan, connecting with an underground community working to put their city on the dance music map.

This dedicated and DIY-minded group of artists and promoters are shaping something unique as they build fun, unifying dance floors in efforts to inspire others and nurture a homegrown scene.

The episode features notable local figures including Nazira, a DJ and sound artist who founded the influential collective and party ZVUK. Joining her is headliner Argy, experiencing the city’s creative energy for the first time, along with the likes of Midclassgypsy, E.T., Gato Azul and ANNDI, the regional winner of our Miller Mix producer competition.
