*The B7/F# is your standard B7 chord, you just need to move your middle finger from the 5th string to the 6th string (same fret). That’s it! It’s a chord shape that I wasn’t used to landing on, and playing through this song using this chord shape helped expand my rhythm guitar skills. It’s useful especially for adding country baseline walks to your rhythm guitar.

▻ Download tablature on my website… just search “Soonka” at countryguitaronline.com and it’ll take you to the “Dear Mr. Arizona” lesson post!

▻ Watch full performance video @SoonkaMusic or find it in the "CGO Featured" playlist on my channel, where you can find more of our country and bluegrass music.

The video and audio used in this mini guitar lesson is a clip from my girlfriend's and my full acoustic performance of her new cowboy song called “Dear Mr. Arizona”. She wrote this song as a letter to an 84 year-old cowboy we met in Tombstone, AZ, and it’s also a tribute to the classic country song “Ghost Riders In The Sky”. Read the full story in the description/pinned comment of the full video on her channel.
