I don't think any episode in the Dangerverse encapsulates Ray's trust issues quite like "Test Friends" in Danger Force. Couple that with abandonment issues, childhood trauma, and self-destructive tendencies and you have all that is Ray Manchester rolled into one poor soul whose angst I feed off of.

Also Schwoz is 100% his unlicensed therapist.

Also it was supposed to be just the Test Friends episode because that episode is so subtly angst-ridden and then I started crying so, here ya go xD
