In 12 days the kitchen arrives and I really need to have nicely plastered walls so I can lay the floor before putting the kitchen in. The two windows in the kitchen also need to be installed and the one at the front needs to have the window sill raised up to above the counter height to accommodate the new smaller window which needs to be able to open.

The plastering is slow going as it needs to be built up quite a lot where there is bare stone and it needs time in-between each application to dry. We will hopefully have some working lights downstairs tomorrow which means I can do some late night work if I have to as it gets dark so early at the moment.

The floor arrived today and with it a new plastering trowel which should speed things up a bit. I love a bit or pressure and having deadlines!
