She has a illness relating to her kidney. She was born in 1997, she has came to the city to get on the kidney trasnplant list. She has been ill for 5-6 years.
When asked why her parents weren't there with her, she explained that her parents are at home because they could only put together enough money for a round trip ticket for her.
The man was very empathetic. He asked if she has found a match yet but she said no. Even if she got on the match, she doesn't have the money for the treatment. It's around 400k to 500k in local currency even if she found a match. She mainly just do that to make her feel more at ease.
When she fell ill, her neighbors and other villagers were empathetic and many let the family borrow money. She said that if she dies she won't feel pain, it's the people who she leave behind who would be the saddest and feel the most pain. She doesn't want to leave any debt to them and hopes to pay it off before her passing.
When they were exchanging numbers the man sent her $66k in local currency. One bowl of noodles is around $3 in local currency there so that is indeed a lot of money. Probably 2X people's annual salary there. The woman was shocked and even ran back to confront him. He is truly an angel.
