Sometimes it’s good to reflect on where you’re at and also enjoy things as they are happening without concentrating too much on where to go next. I’ve been making music/DJing/clubbing for a long time now and always had certain goals about where I wanted to be. To be able to release something, if only a remix, on a legendary label like Ninja Tune feels like a major moment for me personally and I’m also really proud of the remix itself. Even a few years ago making music for a living and working with my heroes was a pipe dream so it’s great to still be going. Also an honour to feature alongside Dj Boring, Jacques Greene, Throwing Snow and Hidden Spheres on the remix album. x
