It took me so long to get the pink and blue lights setup but I really wish I would’ve just stuck with the normal style and added effects within Premiere Pro instead, oh well.

I really enjoyed Ragnarok, it was one of the funnier Marvel movies, it definitely had it’s big action scenes but at points it almost felt like a sitcom, it was strange when you’re used to the typical Marvel formula.

The soundtrack for this was really fun as well, it was the first techno/retro style soundtrack of the MCU, it had its couple of big orchestra moments but most of it was electronic to fit with the vibe of Sakaar. The soundtrack also had a couple of nods to the first two Thor movies which was nice to hear.

This was definitely a struggle to actually finish. My PC has been on the fritz for the past couple of months, a few blue screens here and there and Mixcraft crashing because I’m overloading it with plugins so now that the video is out I’m rebooting my PC, and installing an SSD which hopefully will allow me to work faster and more efficiently.

The thing I struggled with most this time was clarity, whenever I try and build up all these layers and instruments it gets muddy very quickly and I was having technical trouble with my EQs so I couldn’t work on them as much as I wanted so I just had to settle and get the song finished.

The next big movie on my agenda that’s coming out is Justice League which is out in mid November, so if all goes according to plan there should be a video for that in a few weeks!
