I certainly wouldn't call myself a "Deadhead", and as a young headbanger, I just didn't get the allure, especially when one of my Deadhead friends would try to play me a poorly recorded bootleg tape of a Dead show. But, over time I acquired an appreciation for the music of the Grateful Dead, so when I heard how accurately AI captured the Dead sound, I was blown away. This is a song I wrote years ago about the king of the Deadheads at the Jersey Shore. I know this might piss off some of the more purist Deadheads, but I think it's worth a listen, if for no other reason, to hear how well AI nailed it.
