You can sell the mats straight away or you can chose to refine them to get tempering alloy or chromium. A stack of platinum dust goes for around 25k and a stack of rubedite goes for around 7 to 8k. You can get around 50 to 70k gold per hour from farming this, if there are no other players taking resources as well. If you refine the mats you could make more depending on your luck. You better hurry before this video blows up and everyone swarms the place :) I will try to put out more ESO guides like this when I have the time.
