The Outfield es una banda británica de New Wave / Power Pop formada a finales de los 70 por Tony Lewis en Bajo y Voz principal, John Spinks en Guitarra y Alan Jackman en Bateria empezarían bajo el nombre Baseball Boys para un tiempo mas tarde cambiar su nombre a The Outfield, lanzaron su primer álbum en 1985 Play Deep con el que ganaron un éxito enorme sobre todo en Estados Unidos, país en el que arrasaron con su hit numero 1 Your Love, que quizás es su canción mas popular, en los 90s tuvieron un receso después de caer en su popularidad, pero en los 2000 volverían a reunirse hasta que en el 2014 falleciera su guitarrista John Spinks y posteriormente en el 2020 tendría el mismo final el Bajista / Vocalista Tony Lewis.He aquí un Top con mis 20 favoritas....
