-- FR -- Après un retour fracassant de nos amis québécois de CRYPTOPSY en 2023 avec l'album As Gomorrah Burns (@seasonofmist) (faisant au passage référence à l'ancien nom du groupe en 1992) qui mettait fin à un silence discographique de près de dix ans (hormis 2 maigres EP's The Book Of Suffering 1 et 2 pour ronger notre attente) alors que leur album éponyme n'avait pas vraiment convaincu en 2012, nous avons de nouveau taillé une bavette avec le growler francophone (mais d'origine anglophone) Matt McGachy, toujours aussi sympathique. Ce dernier nous parle de l'intense activité des champions du hyper blast metal (ou brutal death metal pour faire simple) et de leur neuvième bombe intitulé An Insatiable Violence (@seasonofmist). Tout un programme, non sans humour... On a même essayé de piéger notre cousin canadien très prolixe en lui présentant une bière française faite de la lave de volcan puisque Matt McGachy mène lui-même une émission sur sa chaîne YouTube et podcast ⁨@VoxandHops sur internet quand il ne hurle pas dans CRYPTOPSY...

-- ENG -- After a resounding return from our Quebec friends CRYPTOPSY in 2023 with the album As Gomorrah Burns (@seasonofmist) (incidentally referring to the band's former name in 1992) which put an end to a recording silence of almost ten years (apart from 2 meager EPs The Book Of Suffering 1 and 2 to gnaw at our wait) while their eponymous album had not really convinced in 2012, we once again had a chat with the French-speaking growler (but of English origin) Matt McGachy, always so friendly. The latter tells us about the intense activity of the champions of hyper blast metal (or brutal death metal to put it simply) and their ninth bomb entitled An Insatiable Violence (@seasonofmist). Quite a program, not without humor... !! We even tried to trick our tchaty Canadian cousin by introducing him to a French beer made from volcanic lava, since Matt McGachy himself hosts a show on his YouTube channel and podcast @VoxandHops on the internet when he's not screaming in CRYPTOPSY...
