Chick season is here 🐣Last year we incubated about 15 eggs for the first time ever! It was such a rewarding experience. We didn’t have a rooster at the time so one of our homestead friends gave us fertile eggs.
This year we will be hatching a few of our own in combination with a friends! We kept one of the roosters and are excited to hatch some chickies again this year!
When you’re collecting and dealing with eggs you plan to incubate make sure to use clean hands! You want to pick eggs that are clean and don’t have any poop smears or feathers stuck to them.
