Tonight, we'll chat with Seattle-based dark electro/witch house producer Kota Kira, and listen to her full-length release 'The Netherworld Beckons' (out now on Re:Mission Entertainment) with track commentary from Kota Kira.

This is the foundation for Kota Kira who prefers to stick to a vibe instead of boxing herself into one genre. She calls this vibe Occult Dance Music.

Based out of Seattle, originally from the Florida Panhandle, Kota Kira is a DJ and Producer making her own mark in the dark dance world! Kota Kira takes a wide range of influences ranging from extreme metal to dark techno; creating an atmosphere unlike anything ever experienced before. Combining an alluring atmosphere, filthy bass lines and ominous, haunting vocals, "The Netherworld Beckons" transports you to a place she likes to call The Netherworld, where demons come out to play.

Creatures of the Netherworld called The Temptresses lure you in with your deepest, darkest desires just as a Siren calls to an unsuspecting sailor. Once in The Netherworld, one must learn to dance with their demons and face their true self or The Temptresses will feast upon their flesh and soul.
