Sooner or later you will either cause damage to Romex during one of your projects or at least find damaged Romex in your home. So the question is how to safely and efficiently fix the issue without costing a ton of time and money. I will walk you through 3 different fixes that should cover 95% of the different scenarios that hopefully you can use to correct your issue. I would not ignore damage to your Romex and this can be a dangerous situation if the insulation on your conductors is damaged and not protected.
