
News has emerged that US President Donald Trump will meet Russia's President, Vladimir Putin, in Alaska on 15 August to discuss the Ukraine War. But fears are already emerging that the American and Russian leaders may be preparing to stitch up an acceptable deal over the heads of the Ukrainians. Already, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he won't accept any territorial transfers. Likewise, Europe is looking on nervously.
