But fears are already emerging that the American and Russian leaders may be preparing to stitch up an acceptable deal over the heads of the Ukrainians. Already, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he won't accept any territorial transfers. Likewise, Europe is looking on nervously.
