‼️The day of surgery can feel like a whirlwind, minimize stress and delays by not wearing: 💄Makeup - can interfere with sterilization and mask skin reactions. 💍Jewelry/body piercings - can be a safety hazard and may need to be removed before the procedure. 👀Contact lenses - Eyes can become irritated, and they may get displaced 👖Tight or complicated clothing - Opt for loose, comfortable clothing to easily change in/out of your surgical gown. 🧴Hair products - we often secure the hair out of the surgical field and hair products make things sticky 🎀Perfume or cologne - the less products you have on your skin, the better 🦷Dental appliances - will need to be removed prior to surgery, so just leave them at home! We do allow nail polish, eyelash extensions and hair extensions at my surgery center, but always check with your surgeon! 💅 These precautions help ensure safety and minimize risks during the procedure.
