What would the 80s be without Modern Talking... Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen were in the right place at the right time and became megastars overnight with the song "You're my Heart, You're my Soul".

In the mid-90s this dream duo went their separate ways, in the early 2000s they came back, recorded new and old songs and sold more than 120 million albums by 2003, when they broke up. That's a lot for a German band.

You can of course argue about how sophisticated Modern Talking's music is, some songs sound the same. BUT, it works... The music is catchy, simple and people listen to it. A gold mine that made Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen rich men and that they can still live very well off of today.

I chose "You're my Heart, You're my Soul" by Modern Talking because it has a similar structure to rock songs. That's why my version is a glam rock version of "You're my Heart, You're my Soul"... The vocals are the guitar solo, everything else is rock guitars... No synthesizers, no.
