While I’ve shown a different angle before, this perspective stands out because it offers a clear look at Kim Il Sung University, North Korea’s most prestigious institution. The university’s importance cannot be overstated—it has educated the country’s elite for decades and is deeply intertwined with the ruling regime.
The weather may not have been ideal, but we were given complete freedom to capture as many photos and videos as we wanted. From here, you also get a sense of Pyongyang’s changing skyline, blending classic Soviet-style architecture with modern high-rise buildings.
