Being charmed by xi's take on Artcore with their track "Ascension to Heaven" and taking inspiration from it, Ice Bear paid tribute to the musical style with passion and crafted this progressive and beautiful piece, imbued with quite a deep concept. It is about Celestia overcoming the darkness inside her to bring joy to Equestrians through eternal daylight, and it's so much food for thought considering eternal daylight would probably be considered a bad thing in the show. Perhaps that meaning should be taken in a figurative sense, with the "light" meaning inner positivity that she uses to bring good to the land.
Below are some afterwords from Ice Bear herself!
"It's about giving it your all to survive the intense battle. From the darkness of the midnight, to the shear, shining light of the dawn, you've got to find it in you to break free of the pain that's dragging you down into sadness, and finally unleash your uprising of the eternal light of happiness until it has cleared you from all the bad, haunting experiences once and for all."
Definitely a relatable and deep concept indeed, with that "eternal light of happiness" representing one's overcoming of dark ordeals in life, and reflected by Celestia's eternal light!

I loved the deep and thought-provoking story of the track! I pictured the scene of the cover art taking place right before the dawn, in a "plotting during the night, awaiting the start of battle at dawn" concept, and that's why I made stars appear in the background! I had to cut around the clouds and Daybreaker's mane, so that I could layer it out for the stars to appear only in the sky. I made the stars move fast, reflecting the experimental aspect of the music, and Daybreaker's plotting! And the animation that not everyone will spot: I made the sun rise from behind the mountains near the end of the song, matching the moment of the "dawn"! Hopefully it adds a little something to the song and its progression!
Love you all!
