🟢 The idea is to use voice stacking, which is essentially a form of unison mode that adds multiple voices on top of each other. What makes Bitwig’s approach unique is that, with the voice-stacking modulators, each voice can have different characteristics such as different pitches, cutof, resonance, and more.
🔥 In today’s example, I’ve loaded a sample called "OM1" from Dash Glitch’s Fragments - Granular Sources sample pack into Bitwig’s sampler. I added multiple voices using voice stacking and applied the voice-stacking modulator to modulate the starting points and pitch of each voice.
💪 I set the sampler to Textures mode and used a sample & glide LFO to modulate the speed and motion parameters of the Texture mode. I also configured the filter to Bandpass 4 and applied another sample-and-glide LFO to modulate the filter’s cutoff.
✅ To finish the sound, I set the envelope with a long attack, full sustain, and a slight release, and I added a large reverb effect.
Enjoy 🤩
