I have been using a Tesla Mobile Connector (wrongly) for many years to charge my Tesla Model S at home. It finally died! It flashes 5 red lights.

I ordered this new Tesla Mobile Connector Generation 3 directly from Tesla.com. They shipped using Fedex ground and it arrived in about 5 days from California to Texas.

The Tesla Wall Connector looks very nice with its white finish and clear glass cover. The look and finish can not be better!

This detailed video goes through from unboxing, wiring, screwing, installing and finalling using the wall charger.

Since I already have a NEMA 14-50 connector, I have decided to use a plug to connect the wall connector charger. I think most people simply just hard wire the wall connector charger directly to breaker without any plugs (which is fine).
