An iron axe lay on the altar, a gift for the Thunder God.Lightning tore the sky apart. A massive form emerged from the storm, eyes burning like molten gold. Perun had come.
A deafening thunderclap shook the earth. When the storm passed, the grove was silent. The worshippers had vanished—claimed by the god they had summoned.
