"What A Price" hit the charts on January 23, 1961 and hit POS. 22 on the national POP-charts. It stayed on the charts for 9 weeks. The b-side also hit the charts (see that entry) making it his 19th(!) double sided hit in nearly 5 years.
"What A Price" hit the national R&B-charts on February 20, 1961. It stayed 7 weeks on the charts hitting #7. It was his 54th entry!
"What A Price" was to be one of his last TOP10 hits. Only "Let The Four Winds Blow" scored better later that year.
