This is not the regular white noise generator made for relaxation, but a genuine white spectrum generator using ocean waves as a sound source. White spectrum sounds very bright/hissy, and so is OCEAN WHITE. It is not meant to deliver the most realistic ocean sounds, but a true white noise that does sound more entertaining than static synthetic noise. This video is primarily aimed at people suffering from tinnitus. It can be used to retrain their ears into the higher frequencies of the audible spectrum, or mask high-pitched sounds such as their tinnitus. Play at moderate or quiet levels. It can be used overnight if your tinnitus gives you trouble falling asleep.
