Join me on my Summer adventures in the the beautiful forests and mountains of the Pacific Northwest with a soundtrack of what I call, "Summer Hiking Black Metal". Featuring both the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges as well as some classic mountain landscape paintings.

Though everyone has their own idea of what music best represents the mountains (specifically the mountains in Summer) for me, it is a very specific type of black metal. Besides the subject matter obviously being about mountains or forests, it has to have some folk elements and a lot of atmosphere. A warm production with a slightly live sound to it. As melodic as the birds singing and as harsh as the weather-beaten crags. It has to keep me moving up the trail and also stop me in my tracks to remind me of the beautiful and epic scenery that I'm surrounded by. This is what I call Mountain Metal.
