To begin with, what makes Diva sound the way it does is the waveform it's generating, so in a synthesizer like Serum if we use wavetables sampled from analog synthesizers we should in theory get close.
So after some trial and error I found that wavetables MB Saw & Basic Mini does the job really well and has a nice edgy analog kind of character to them.
Next step is really simple, we set the SAW wavetable to frequency modulate the Square shape of the Basic Mini table and we make sure that the modulater (SAW) is at least an octave lower than the carrier (Basic Mini).
Now we're getting really close to the sound but we're still not there because in an analog synthesizer we can overdrive the filter circuits and this is what U-he Diva is doing, so we need to emulate that in Serum.
To do so, we will bypass the first filter and go directly to the FXs where we will distorte the signal with an agressive distortion like Diode1.
From there, we can finish the sound by applying our filtering of choice like bandpass12 or highpass.
