The Mirage boasted a volcano fountain, a 5,000-seat theater, a $1.2 million aquarium tank, and a nine-story atrium with an indoor tropical rainforest display. The hotel tower featured 18-karat gold exterior windows. Additionally, The Mirage's casino was the first in Las Vegas to use security cameras full-time on all table games. The Mirage will be dearly missed by visitors from around the world!
