Shoutout to Steve who asked about this, today's vid is a demo of the opening drum fill and main grove from this classic funked-up cover of the Maria Muldaur original.

It's super funky - the groove is surprisingly busy and therefore quite tricky to nail down. You'll need to have your bass drum firing for this one!

(One point to note: The notation software I used doesn't have the function to notate a drag, so have used the notation for a flam in it's place - it is definitely played as a drag though!)
