We present to you an interview with journalist Rafik Ludf.
Rafik came from the USA, where he lived and worked for 17 years. Finding himself in a chat with religious radicals who were preparing the so-called "Syrian revolution," he pretended to be one of them and downloaded all the information. With these files, he flew to Damascus before the protests began in 2011, but the government did not believe him. However, all subsequent events unfolded exactly according to the scenario he described.

Rafik was asked to return to Syria and was offered to host a program on one of the television channels to explain to the population what was happening in the country.

During the years of war, he made 250 documentaries. Although radicals in Syria attempted to assassinate him 17 times, the journalist earned the trust of all parties to the conflict through his honesty and role as a fair negotiator. After the end of hostilities, Rafik Ludf actively participated in the National Reconciliation program.

After the change of power in the country in 2024, the journalist left Syria with the help of Russian military personnel, as his life was in mortal danger.

While already in Moscow, Rafik received a call from HTS militants from his mother's house. The radicals, holding a rifle to her head, demanded that he delete all his social media accounts and forbade him from going online.

Rafik's mother and relatives were driven out of their home and moved to a third country, fearing for their lives.

Foreign militants moved into the journalist's apartment, declaring that they had confiscated his housing as state property.

As soon as the purges of Alawites and Christians began on the Syrian coast, Rafik could not stand it, restored his social media accounts, and again began to advocate for the liberation of Syria from terrorism, as he had done throughout the 14 years of the Syrian crisis.

After our interview with Rafik, we recorded a joint stream from Moscow in support of the Syrian people in their fight against terrorism, which he posted on his Facebook account.

Currently, Rafik has flown to a third country to continue his professional activities as a journalist.
