You could say that Mudhoney opened the door for the "Seattle Grunge Scene" playing under a variety of different names and their young career was anything short
of a mess. They actually practiced by banging on pots and pans and when approached to do a gig, they thought they were in trouble and ran. When the guy caught up with them and told them the deal they looked at each other and said "guess we need to buy some instruments"! Just before the release of "Touch Me I'm Sick" they officially became Mudhoney (named after an old Russ Meyer film, which none of them had ever watched)! This song belongs exclusively to the writer/producer. ENJOY!!
