More than 47,000 pamphlets in the seat of Wentworth have been distributed in breach of the Electoral Act.The Australian Electoral Commission is investigating the incident and has confirmed the distributed pamphlets are not authorised.
Independent MP Allegra Spender gave a public address stating the pamphlets were defamatory and included “false, misleading, and offensive” claims about her.
