
The Insane was formed in Wigan, UK, in 1979. They shared several members with Blitzkrieg at various times, and drummer Dave Ellesmere and guitarist Simon Middlehurst also played with Flux Of Pink Indians. Dave Ellesmere also served as drummer for Discharge for a short time. The original lineup is Barry Taberner on vocals, Dean Porter on bass, in addition to Dave on drums, and Simon on guitar.
This LP is a collection of their recordings and was released by Vomitopunkrock Records in 2017.
Tracks 1-11 are demos and rehearsals, track 12 is from the 'El Salvador' 7'', track 13 is from the compilation 'We Don't Want Your Fucking Law', track 14 is from the compilation 'Ten From The Madhouse', tracks 15 & 16 are from the 'Why Die' 7'' and track 17 is from the split 7'' with The Skeptix - 'Vendetta'.
