The FEED Sessions is a multi-cam performance series showcasing VJs and visual artists, offering a glimpse into their live performances and creative workflows – a.k.a. “Boiler Room” for VJs.

Filmed at FEED Media Art Center, the show is live recorded using a DIY analog broadcast studio equipped with old cameras and vintage live multicam switchers–capturing every performance with a classic, live public access TV aesthetic.

Initially started to create accompaniment for his musical projects, Michael fell down the analog rabbit hole and found a love for the gritty textures and unpredictable glitches it unlocked. Blanq Media now provides live and studio visuals for a variety of projects and events, as well as building and modding hardware glitch devices.

Created by Pulp! Video Lab and directed and live mixed by Betty Sweaters, The FEED Sessions is a live performance series that celebrates VJs and visual creators. The show’s unique format flips the script on traditional music performance shows by putting the VJ front and center, having the music serve as the backdrop to the visuals rather than the visuals as the backdrop to the music.
