Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841) was an Italian guitarist and composer with a very large composition output. His most celebrated work is his Complete Guitar Method (Opus 27) which was published in 1810. As a teenager teaching myself how to play the instrument, I used Carulli's Complete Method on a regular basis.

His Opus 264 is a collection of fifteen easy and progressive pieces. The piece in this video is written in the key of D Major, with a brief stop in its relative minor, B Minor. Pretty straight-forward harmonies throughout.
