These are the only 13 countries in the world that recognize Taiwan as an independent country. There is no such country in entire Asia. The closest country that officially recognizes the Republic of China is Palau. Further in Oceania we add the Marshall islands, Nauru, and Tuvalu. Now we have to move across the globe to the American continent. There lies the highest number of countries recognizing Taiwan. Namely Paraguay, Guatemala, Belize, Haiti, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Saint vincent and the grenadines. One of the remaining 2 countries is Eswatini in Africa. While the other is the only one in Europe, it is the Holy-see or so-called Vatican. And that makes the final map of countries officially recognizing Taiwan.
