This album was issued on April 15, 1994, by Aprelevka Sound Inc. (later distributed by Image Records and Союз) as cassette and CD/MC formats. Musically, it fuses hip-hop, hip-house, new-jack swing, techno and funk, overlaying social-commentary lyrics atop sampled folk motifs (notably “Hava Nagila”) and hard-driving beats. The core duo — Sergey Savin (vocals, lyrics) and Igor Pukhovich (music, production) — recorded the album between summer 1992 and summer 1993 at Arkady Ukupnik’s studio on Profsoyuznaya and then at Alla Pugacheva’s Olympic complex studio.
The album’s standout track “Folk Techno” remains a cult favorite and was reworked by the original lineup for a 2024 Muz-TV New Year’s performance.
Despite limited mainstream press at the time, One More endures as a snapshot of early Russian rap’s experimental fusion—combining electronic beats, folk motifs, and socially charged lyrics in a distinctly ’90s package.
