He saw an old man doing recycling that day. He had made just $10. And he stopped the old man offering him $100 if he could spend it all that day. The reason is to prevent him from saving the money but never using it. The old man tried to decline but ultimately accepted the money.
He was worried that his hands were too dirty but the kind young man didn't mind. He made sure the old man knows that he's his grandson for the day. They ran into his wife who thought the young man was a scammer.
They brought the couple to multiple places and got them lots of different food. It was 14 in total. Including clothes. The old lady said that she hadn't bought clothes for a long time and really appreciated the new clothes and shoes. They got the old man new shoes as well.
They were so touched that by the end they were crying. The young man reminded them of their late son. Although $100 isn't a lot but it can improve the lives of villagers like them. Let's hope the young man continue doing this good deed.
