Although the drive from Patong Hill to downtown Patong is a beautiful drive this is a notorious road for accidents due to narrow windingy road. There had been many accidents on this road. However, after climbing the hill, approaching Patong, what you see is the amazing scenic view of the beautiful Patong beach straight ahead of you. When you are driving please take care especially avoiding bike riders as most of them do not have a sense of direction as well as your indicators will be ignored when changing lanes. (I already had an accident...)
