Deathcore is a genre that has had one of the coolest evolutionary periods in the past few decades in all of the metal world. With a respectful, kind community that've (mostly, of course) welcomed and embraced the change of natural progression of bands like Mental Cruelty, Slaughter to Prevail, Lorna Shore, Worm Shepherd etc--alongside great classics like Thy Art Is Murder, Whitechapel and Chelsea Grin still making fantastic music--, it's not hard to see why deathcore may just be one of the greatest metal subgenres you will come to find; in my personal opinion, of course.
